Forge Prep
Built for 2040.
A complete brand identity system for Forge Prep, covering every touchpoint from enrollment campaigns to campus communications. Built to reflect a school where students learn by doing, not memorizing, and where the model is designed for a world that no longer looks like 1940.
Why Brand Identity
Matters
Earned Credentials
Forge Prep earned a sub-10% admissions rate in its very first year, signaling immediate, organic demand from families across New Jersey. The school is accredited by Middle States, and its problem-based learning model drew national coverage in The Wall Street Journal. For a school in year one, these are proof points that most established institutions spend years trying to earn.
Retention and Culture
Every Forge Prep student is assigned a Guide who stays with them for multiple years, building a genuine relationship and a personalized growth plan. With a 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio, no student falls through the cracks. Families who believe the current education model is broken choose Forge because the culture matches the conviction. One-third of first-year students received financial aid, showing that need-blind admissions is not a talking point but a practice.
Growth Opportunity
Forge Prep opened with 35 students and is targeting 95 for the coming year, against a total campus capacity of 400. Seats are open across grades 5 through 9, with 9th grade as the most urgent priority. The school draws families from a 25-minute drive radius, pulling from surrounding public school districts as well as homeschooling and microschool communities. The gap between current enrollment and capacity is where brand identity does its most important work.
Positioning &
Strategy
Forge Prep is the private school for families who believe the classroom model built in 1940 cannot prepare students for 2040. Students here learn by building, solve real problems for real audiences, and develop the curiosity, agency, and resilience that no standardized test can measure. Not busywork. Not memorization. Mastery.

Enrollment
Funnel
6:1 Student to Teacher Ratio
Forge Prep runs with one of the lowest ratios in the region. Every student is personally known, coached, and held to a high standard by a Guide who stays with them across multiple years.
Real Tools for Real Work
Students have access to Chromebooks, 3D printers, a Cricut studio, a media studio, and an electronics and robotics lab. These are the tools of builders, not test-takers.
Need-Blind Admissions
Forge Prep's admissions process evaluates students on curiosity and capability, not financial capacity. One-third of year-one students received financial aid. Cost is not a reason to not apply.
Before and After Care Available
Before care runs 8 to 9am at $100 per month. After care runs 4 to 6pm at $300 per month. Drop-off begins at 8:45am. The school day runs 9am to 4pm year-round with scheduled breaks.
Logo &
Identity
Primary — Light Background
Reversed — Dark Background (filter: invert)
Maintain a clear zone equal to the height of the logo mark on all sides. Never crowd, clip, or overlay the mark with other graphic elements, especially in digital ad placements or print headers.
Never reproduce the logo below 80px in digital contexts or 1 inch in print. On the primary red background or any dark surface, always apply filter: brightness(0) invert(1) to render the mark in clean white.
Do not stretch, rotate, recolor, or add drop shadows, glows, or outlines to the logo. Never place it on a background that reduces contrast. Always source from the approved SVG file.

Imagery
Direction
Learning in Action
Prioritize candid shots of students actively building: operating 3D printers, prototyping at the electronics and robotics studio, working in the media studio, and engaging in direct instruction during the morning Practice block. Images should feel real, not staged. Show concentration, collaboration, and the satisfaction of work in progress. Avoid stock-looking compositions or posed smiles directed at a camera.
Community and Game Day Energy
Capture the moments that define Forge's culture: students presenting finished work to outside adult experts on Game Day, Guide and student conversations that reflect real coaching relationships, and the mix of grades and backgrounds that make mixed-age learning feel natural. Images must reflect dignity, curiosity, and agency. The Forge community is small and serious about its work. Every photo should make a prospective family feel what it is like to belong here.
Voice &
Tone
Direct and Declarative
Forge Prep does not hedge. The school was built on a conviction that the model most schools use is wrong for the world students are entering. Every piece of communication should carry that same clarity. Short sentences. Active verbs. No filler. Families who are ready for something different will recognize and trust a brand that speaks plainly about what it believes.
Curious and Forward-Looking
Forge speaks like a school that is genuinely excited about what comes next. The voice asks questions, surfaces real problems, and frames education as an act of building rather than receiving. Content should feel like it comes from people who spend real time thinking about what learning should look like in 2040, not people defending what it looked like in 1940.
High Expectation Without Apology
Forge expects students to be one to three years ahead of New Jersey state standards. That expectation shows in the voice. Communications do not soften the bar to attract more applicants. They raise it, because the families Forge wants to reach are the ones who have been waiting for a school that finally matches their own standard for what their child is capable of.
Grounded and Honest
Forge Prep is a new school with a strong early track record and a lot of room to grow. The voice does not oversell or reach for credentials it has not yet earned. It speaks plainly about what exists: a sub-10% admissions rate, Middle States accreditation, a WSJ feature, and a model with real rigor behind it. Families trust honesty far more than polish.
